For some reason my Time Machine refused to complete backups giving the following error: “Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume.”

The problem was probably originally caused by my cancellation of the backup process when I needed to turn off the computer. But still, if it has a cancel button, it really shouldn’t break the entire backup process in the future.
The way I finally got this fixed was removing the folder “Backups.backupdb” from the backup drive and starting the backup from scratch.
Other than that, the backup process is taking surprisingly long, granted that the initial backup will be the largest. The hourly incrementals will probably go much faster.
P.S. I just noted that when you take a screenshot of a single window in Leopard, it also includes the shadow around it. Looks nice, well at least if you don’t use IE6 and you really shouldn’t be doing that for many reasons I’m too lazy to list here, including broken PNG support.
