First impressions about SGH-i600
I was browsing for a while the menus and found that all important phone settings can be found from pressing first start menu and then choosing “settings”.
I hooked the phone up with my WLAN in no time and got surfing. I found also GPRS pretty easy to set up I and connected my laptop to internet trough GPRS in no time. I also found how to use camera in no time. Hmm – I was quickly impressed about this phone.
ActiveSync with Windows XP
Next I installed Microsoft ActiveSync to my Sony VAIO running Windows XP from the CD that came with the package. I plugged the phone to my laptop with USB cable and syncing the phone was pretty easy.
Then I tried syncing with Bluetooth. This was not anymore so easy … I actually could not make it work the first day. There are some tricks and settings one needs to know to make ActiveSync to work with Samsung SGH-i600 or Samsung Blackjack.
